They are currently looking to recruit and experience Food & Beverage Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis based at one of their hotels located in the heart of Ashbourne, within picturesque scenic surroundings.
About the Food & Beverage Manager
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the culinary operations at their prestigious hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the food and beverage service, ensuring high-quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. From running The Garden Room Restaurant to our Private Dining Area's and Dining experience.
What duties will be involved in the Food & Beverage Manager role?
- Oversee all aspects of food production and service within the hotel's restaurant and bar areas
- Lead a team of hospitality professionals, providing guidance, training, and support
- Coordinate menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the restaurant and dining areas
- Supervise bartending staff to maintain high standards of beverage service
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth
What will you bring to the Food & Beverage Manager role?
- Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or similar within the hotel or hospitality industry is essential.
- At least 1 year's supervisory, restaurant manager, bar management, customer service & hospitality experience is essential.
- Strong background in food production, culinary arts, and menu development
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage service operations
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Passion for hospitality, leadership skills, and a flair for culinary excellence
- Driving License (preferred)
Salary: up to £30,000 + bonus scheme, tips, and yearly bonus.
Hours: 10-12 hours day shifts which will include weekend and evening work.
