Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Aluminium Windows & Doors Fabricator on behalf of their busy client in Sandy.
Position Overview: As an Aluminium Windows and Doors Fabricator, you will be responsible for the accurate fabrication of aluminium windows and doors to meet customer specifications. You will work with a range of tools and machinery to ensure high-quality, durable products. The ideal candidate will have experience in aluminium fabrication, an eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricate aluminium windows and doors from detailed technical drawings.
* Measure and cut aluminium profiles to required sizes, ensuring precision and accuracy.
* Assemble components using appropriate techniques and tools.
* Work with various machinery, including saws, drills, and crimping machines, to cut, drill, and assemble profiles.
* Ensure all fabricated products are in line with company quality standards and client specifications.
* Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure efficient operation.
* Work closely with other team members and departments to meet production schedules and deadlines.
* Inspect finished products for any defects and make necessary adjustments.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as an Aluminium Windows and Doors Fabricator or in a similar manufacturing role is essential.
* Strong knowledge of aluminium profiles, systems, and construction methods.
* Experience with fabrication machinery (e.g., saws, drills, crimping machines, etc.).
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent attention to detail and precision in fabrication.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make adjustments on the fly.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
* A proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with the installation of aluminium windows and doors is a plus.
* Understanding of thermal breaks and other advanced aluminium window and door systems.
* Knowledge of CAD software for design purposes would be advantageous.
