Hours: 37 a week, 8:30 - 16:45 Mon - Thurs, 8:30 - 16:15 Fri
Up to £24.65 per hour PAYE / Up to £33.10 per hour via Umbrella contract

Our client is a world leader in the design, manufacture and support of a world class range of engines, they are looking to extend their Purchasing team in Peterborough; it’s a varied role with specific cost reduction projects (including engine cost reductions) and a chance to integrate with suppliers. You’ll also be responsible for the project initiative; managing multiple different teams to generate ideas, and get these ideas approved all the way through to execution!
What will the Cost Reduction Project Manager do?
Be a Project Leader, managing multiple projects, coordinating cross functional teams to successful execution
You’ll be responsible for the creation of Business Cases to be presented at Sourcing Council for business approval, either for Cost Reduction, or Assurance of Supply/Quality
You’ll work with all business functions (Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance) building strong business acumen required for this assignment
