Role Purpose
This new role is crucial to improving the readiness of our global providers network through vetting and to ensure they are aligned with our internal Legal, Risk and Compliance requirements. The role will oversee the monthly global watchlist process, ensuring that all countries on the watchlist are supported by approved, vetted, and insured providers. As part of the role you will:
* Collaborate with EMEA, APAC, and Americas regions to develop and prioritise provider vetting lists.
* Assist in conducting due diligence and vetting of providers on these priority lists.
* Expand the network of service providers to align with evolving business needs.
* Coordinate follow-up activities, including scheduled auditing of approved providers, to ensure ongoing compliance and performance standards.
* Centralise and maintain the global database of providers, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and regular updates.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Centralise and formalise a providers’ network global database:
* Meet with regional stakeholders on a monthly basis to review updates to the providers network database.
* Update providers network database monthly and share with regional stakeholders.
* Update the common operating picture on a monthly basis.
* Perform a gap analysis of the approved versus unapproved providers on the monthly global watchlist and global additions (what to watch).
Provider vetting
* Determine a vetting priority list based on the monthly global watchlist, global additions (what to watch) and business needs.
* Create a repository for all regional/global vetting documents, potentially a Teams folder.
* Research should also be conducted on the plausibility of using software similar to GAN or even an extension of GAN for the centralisation of vetting documents, this would supersede the Teams folder and would allow users to have greater oversight over vetting and the status of providers in the system.
* Liaise with regions regularly to verify if they need additional support from Legal, Risk and Compliance (LRC).
* Oversee activities of the global vetting analyst.
Audits and expansion
* Assist in the creation of an audit programme for existing approved providers.
* Visit new providers to ensure quality of service and reliability.
