The Faculty of Health requires a proactive and enthusiastic Programme Administrator to provide administrative and reception support within an extremely busy Faculty.
Under the direction of the Senior Programme Administrator and as a member of the team, you will contribute to the delivery of a customer-focused and efficient programme and placement administrative support for the Faculty of Health.
Each individual contributes to the administration support of designated programmes and seeks to enhance the student experience throughout their time with the University of Plymouth.
This is an opportunity to engage with students and support them whilst studying at the University, playing a key role in facilitating the student experience journey by effectively communicating with students and colleagues. The role will provide support to the Senior Programme Administrators/Coordinators in addition to line managing the reception admin assistant and providing support across the team.
You will be responsible for managing reception and be in direct contact with students and staff, responding to their queries, maintaining student records, attending and providing minutes for meetings, updating programme documents, and providing programme data as required. You will have a flexible attitude in an ever-changing environment, good organisational skills, IT and keyboard skills, the ability to identify and seek resolutions to problems, and be extremely capable of working within tight deadlines. Good communication and management skills, teamwork, and minute-taking are essential. Experience in a programme administration-related environment is preferred.
The post will be located in Portland Square situated on the University’s main campus within the city centre. Travel to and working from other sites may be required on occasion to meet the needs of the business.

This is a part-time, permanent position, working 18.5 hours per week. The working pattern can be discussed at interview.
