We are looking for an experiencedpractice nurse with proven leadership and Practice Nurse clinical skills. Youwill be responsible for the development, assessment, and day to day running of nursingteam in conjunction with your clinical duties.
Main duties of the job
Summaryof Management Duties
Allocate,coordinate, monitor and assess the work of the nursing team and individuals.
Ensurethat the necessary nurse clinics are appropriately staffed and organised.
Developa working environment that promotes healthy, safe and effective work outcomes.
Managethe day to day running of the nursing team.
Leadthe nursing team meetings, Attend monthly meeting with practice manager andsenior receptionist
Offerand provide clinical supervision to other members of the practice nursing teamand act as a clinical ''expert'', referring to other members of the team or GPsas required.
Monitorand advise on the effective use of physical and financial resources by thepractice nursing team.
Recruitand select staff to meet the health and well-being needs of the practicepopulation.
Superviseand assess staff performance and development. Perform appraisals with HR manager/ GP as appropriate.
Mentor,develop and support the nursing team as required.
The successful candidatewill be a Registered Nurse.

The Practice is based in March, Cambridgeshire.
We have two GP partners, 1 Salaried GP, 1 ANP, 1 Nurse practitioner and team of Nurses, Nurse Associates and HCAs
We are a learning organisation and currently have 1 trainee GP, 1 Trainee ANP and a newly qualifed nurse starting in September.
