Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1. Read and interpret complex schematic drawings in order to plan methods and sequence of assembly.
2. Performs diverse functions such wiring, installation, terminations, connecting panels, upfitting cable trays/ladder racks, conduit upfitting, crimping on gensets and enclosures.
3. Use a variety of power tools, hand tools and other equipment.
4. Report malfunctions on equipment.
5. Compliance with safety and quality standards.
6. Compliance with the 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives.
7. Display behaviour and conduct fitting with our Values in Action.
8. Train other employees if and when required.
9. Any other appropriate duties.
Job Requirements
10. Experience as an Electrician (Formal Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 17th/18th edition or equivalent relevant qualification)
11. Previous electrical experience (wiring, installation, terminations, connecting panels, upfitting cable trays/ladder racks, conduit upfitting, crimping)
12. Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is preferred.
13. Experience working to defined process times.
14. Good attention to detail.
15. Ability to work from heights and in an enclosed work area.
16. A keen awareness and commitment to the highest standard of health and safety and quality.
17. A reasonable level of computer literacy would be an advantage but not essential.

Hours of work and salary:
23. Day Shift - £15.06/hr
24. Night Shift - £20.08/hr
25. Overtime - £22.59/hr (First ten hours)
26. Overtime - £30.12/hr (After ten hours overtime)
27. 37.5 hours per week (Mon - Thurs)
