As a Project Director, you will be expected to oversee an integrated team on large complex infrastructure projects. The role would cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception and business case development, through the design process, procurement process & delivery. Here's what you'll do: Actively participates in all Project Reviews (including Tier 1 reviews, Healthy Start Reviews and Technical Approach Reviews) and confirms compliance with Business Policy and Procedures (including any local requirements/guidance), the Project Plan and Client Contract. Provide advice to the PM, particularly on matters relating to financial impacts or potential issues and supports the PM in developing a project recovery plan, if required. Ensures any financial issues or potential risks are escalated to the P&L Manager, Operations, and Finance leads as they are identified Confirm that all necessary Project Safety Plans / Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessment Method Statements and Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) Plans, have been established, reviewed and approved in advance of commencing site work. Drive consistent Project Manager (PM) practices and procedures in alignment with AECOM PM requirements and the Project Delivery System (PDS). Confirm that the Technical Approach Review is planned and performed by appropriate technical leads. Come grow with us.
