We’re excited to announce a new opportunity on the Apprenticeship Programme. Based at a state-of-the-art Coventry training facility, the role involves delivering Level 2 and Level 3 Light Vehicle apprenticeship training, aligned with the manufacturer’s technician accreditation and High Voltage certification pathways.
Job Purpose
As part of a dynamic team, the Apprenticeship Technical Trainer will deliver and develop high-quality learning programmes, ensuring learners progress towards their qualifications and accreditation in a safe, supportive environment.
About the Apprenticeship Programme
Delivered at the Coventry Academy on behalf of Stellantis UK retailers, this programme provides apprentices with the core curriculum, technician accreditation, and high-voltage vehicle training. It aims to equip apprentices with the skills, behaviours, and competencies required for professional success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging, high-quality apprentice training to meet programme standards.
2. Collaborate with trainers to deliver curriculum and brand-specific modules.
3. Facilitate training using Trainer Accreditation methodology.
4. Conduct assessments, manage learner progress, and track performance via learner management systems.
5. Prepare resources, including setting up training vehicles.
6. Support functional skills development and assist with training material creation.
7. Produce employer reports and identify learners needing extra support or stretch.
8. Lead induction sessions and ensure adherence to Health & Safety, Safeguarding, and Prevent standards.
9. Act as a programme ambassador, promoting best practices and brand values.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Level 3 Qualified Technician (EHV certification desirable).
2. Teaching qualification/experience (PTLLS, Cert Ed, etc.) preferred.
3. Full driving license.
4. Relevant Health & Safety, First Aid, or Safeguarding training (desirable).
5. Recent manufacturer workshop experience (desirable).
6. Proficiency with MS Office and an understanding of technical innovation.
