As a Nursery Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the daily nursery operations and fostering the holistic development of the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities to promote children's learning and development
* Ensure a safe, stimulating, and secure environment where children can explore and learn
* Support children with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and nap routines
* Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication
* Observe and document children's progress, highlighting achievements and areas for further development
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a warm, inclusive, and welcoming nursery environment
* Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
* Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred
* Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Paediatric First Aid certification is a plus
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
* Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth
