Job Title: Head of Service-Finance Business Partner

Morgan Hunt is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Business Partner to lead and deliver several key finance-focused projects throughout 2025. This crucial role will play a vital part in ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of the organisation's services. Working closely with the Director of Finance & Resources, this role will provide leadership and financial insight on key projects that impact service users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cost modelling, budget forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Provide insightful financial advice and support to service managers and senior leadership.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, auditors, and external consultants.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the charity's overall financial strategy.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent professional qualification.
* Proven experience in a senior finance role within the charity sector (or a similar environment).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
* Proven project management skills, with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial accounting software packages.
* A strong understanding of charity finance and fundraising principles.
