Salary: Starting from £13.59 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Hours : Part Time, 20 hours from either 10.30am - 2.30pm, or 11am - 3pm, Monday - Friday

We have a very exciting opportunity for aPART time,qualified level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Goldhawk Road Day Nursery and Preschool situatedinShepherds Bush. Working hours can be either 11am-3pm or 10:30am-2:30pm.
Our beautiful Goldhawk Road Nursery is a new build and boasts being a light, airy building with a large staff room and well being room for staff. There are lots of endless opportunities to progress your career.
The nursery is a stunning 86 place setting in a beautifully converted town house, which will feature spacious rooms and 3 separate garden areas, perfect for plenty of outdoor teaching and learning!
It has great public transport links, being only a short walk from the Goldhawk Road underground station (on the circle and Hammersmith and City lines) and Ravenscourt Park underground station (On the district line), a 15 minute walk from Shepherds Bush (on the central line underground and overground station) as well as onsite parking.

What you’ll be doing
11. Plan, create and implement engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
12. Observing, tracking and reflecting on learning
13. Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
14. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
15. Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis
What we’re looking for
16. Full and Relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
17. Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
18. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
19. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
20. Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
21. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
