Stock investment works include kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors and roof replacements. Planned works include cyclical decoration and repairs to our schemes and other ad-hoc planned works as required. We are happy to offer hybrid working with this role; You will be required to be in the office for around 2/3 days per week with the rest being from home, however please bear in mind we may need you to be in the office more within your probation and training. It's important to us that you feel fully ready and confident in the role before working from home. Of course if you'd prefer to be in the office more, then that is completely fine with us too Your responsibilities To deliver the stock investment and planned works programmes for PA Housing for our Midlands properties. Stock investment works include kitchens, bathrooms, window, doors and roof replacements. Planned works include cyclical decoration and repairs to our schemes and other ad-hoc planned works as required. To use and update Keystone in managing the works, including the use of mobile technology. Certifying contractor valuations and claims within this role s delegated authority limits, including interim and final account payment. Carry out and manage the quality inspection process of works, including pre-start scoping, work in progress quality inspections and post inspection sign-offs. Work closely with our resident liaison officer to ensure the stock investment and planned works offer excellent customer experience and high levels of customer satisfaction. Review and update our stock data to develop future stock investment and planned work programmes. Our ideal candidate Holds a professional qualification in a relevant technical discipline, or the ability to demonstrate suitable experience to meet the requirements of this role. Accredited qualifications by Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors or the Chartered Institute of Building NEBOSH/IOSH qualification A minimum of two years experience in delivering stock investment / major works to social housing or private residential housing. Experience of managing suppliers through long term contracts which include JCT Measured Term contracts or similar. Disclosure and Barring Service: This role of requires the successful candidate to complete a basic DBS check. A basic DBS check will show any unspent convictions.
