The Practice, situated in Kent, operates as a multi-disciplinary Building Services Consultancy. While offering a range of services, its primary focus lies in the design of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health Building Services. These designs are meticulously crafted to deliver high-quality solutions while meeting the rising requirements for energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions. Key responsibilities: Provide comprehensive mechanical services design encompassing heating, cooling, ventilation, and domestic water, supported by calculations conducted through software like Cymap/IES. Prepare client briefing documents and presentations for project presentations. The Intermediate Mechanical Engineer will assume responsibility for the technical design and integration of mechanical systems across both new and ongoing projects: Leading the design and management of individual projects, addressing technical challenges, and maintaining communication with clients as needed. Taking on a technical and supervisory role within the Companys Mechanical department. Cultivating and enhancing relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing opportunities for new projects. Participating in project meetings with clients and internal discussions to review progress and policies. Developing client briefing documents and presentations for project proposals. Skills/Qualifications desired: Either a current member of CIBSE or actively pursuing membership while striving for Chartered Engineering status. Ideally possessing a minimum of 5 years experience and holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency in utilizing Office 365, Cymap, and AutoCAD LT. Capable in the application of IES software. Demonstrating a conscientious and dedicated approach to the profession. Ability to think creatively in resolving engineering and commercial challenges. Highly motivated with a keen willingness to learn and enhance skills. Embracing a positive and collaborative team-oriented attitude. Strong verbal communication abilities. Knowledge of Revit/ AutoCAD 3D. Previous working experience and knowledge of residential, retail, commercial, and Education sectors.
