Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in History, Geography and Religious Education
* Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed
* Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies
* Manage classroom activities and create a positive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in a relevant subject area (History, Geography, RE)
* Experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary level
Education:
Degree in History, Geography, RE or related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary level
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum for History, Geography and RE
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
* Effective classroom management techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
