Overview Our clients are currently seeking a Construction manager/ Project Manager to join their growing team, working from the Milton Keynes office with regular project site visits and travel expected. This position would be perfect for a candidate who has previously worked as a project manager on commercial refurbishment/ fit-out projects, ideally involving student accommodation facilities however we will consider transferable experience from other commercial refurb projects. This position comes as part of their natural growth and will work closely with the project director to ensure delivery of projects always have a strong quality focus. The successful candidate should be located within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes and have a relevant background in Project Management within the construction industry. Candidates must also have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this position. Successful applicants will meet the following criteria: Minimum 3years experience as a Project Manager, delivering refurbishment focused projects, ideally on student accommodation, retail, healthcare or similar. Wider experience in commercial or built environment projects. Well versed in all aspects of project management, including pre&post lifecycle phases and delivering to an end client. Strong knowledge of JCT design & build projects, refurbishment and similar contract management project tendering and management processes. Preferably a Project Management/ Construction related degree or industry accredited qualification. Self-motivated, driven, ambitious and pro-active individual who is capable of working independently and as part of a wider team. The successful candidate will be involved with driving the businesses success going forward, must be comfortable communicating with clients and be passionate about the work they deliver. Expected salary of £45-55k (Flexible and dependant on experience) car allowance, company bonus, matched pension, private healthcare and other benefits.
