Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £46,840 - £53,602 per annum (Band 7)

Job Overview
Blaenau-Gwent are seeking an exceptional Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Integrated Community Resource Team. You will have the unique opportunity to help promote independence and empower individuals to achieve their personal goals. You will be working closely with the Community Resource Team and the Information, Advice and Assistance (IAA) team, leading on the objectives of the "Better Care" and "Discharge to Recover & Assess" model.
You will provide clinical and professional leadership to therapists within the Community Resource team and manage a defined caseload of individuals requiring therapy support. You will be conversant with relevant legislation that informs the development of community care services locally and will be involved with any future proposed changes to services in Blaenau-Gwent.
The post holder will be responsible for planning and delivering the objectives of IAA alongside the Community Resource Team and the Long-term teams. They will also lead on the objectives of the Better Care and D2RA model.

Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service. Welsh language skills are desirable.
