Job Opportunity: Electrical Technician\nLocation: Liverpool\nContract Type: Permanent\nWorking Pattern: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours, On Call included)\n\nAre you a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Technician looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Join our client, where your expertise will contribute to world-class maintenance practises!\n\nWhat You'll Do:\nAs an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and play a critical role in ensuring that our plant and process equipment operates at peak efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:\n\nExecuting repairs following electrical and instrumentation breakdowns using recognised problem-solving techniques.\nCompleting planned preventative maintenance tasks to the highest standards.\nUtilising a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to log faults and analyse defect information.\nDeveloping prioritised maintenance activity plans to maximise maintenance windows.\nCollaborating on mechanical breakdown activities and planned maintenance tasks.\nApplying predictive maintenance techniques, including thermo-graphic imaging and vibration analysis.\nAdhering to safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and improving safety practises.\nSupporting environmental, food safety, and quality standards to minimise operational impact.\nMaintaining high housekeeping standards and managing spare part inventory.
\n\nWhat You Bring:\nTo thrive in this role, you should have:\n\nA Level / HNC qualification in engineering subjects.\nExperience in instrumentation and electrical maintenance.\nA proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.\nA self-motivated attitude and the ability to work within a team.\nPhysical capability for manual handling and working at heights. \n\nDesirable Experience:\n\nBackground in a food production factory and knowledge of BRC standards. \n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nLocation: Easily commutable from train station and bus routes, making your daily commute a breeze.
