Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who is electrically biased looking for a new role within the Food Manufacturing Industry? A leading manufacturing business based in the area of Swadlincote, Derbyshire is looking to grow their team. This role will be based within the company's factory in a small team of 13 engineers, offering a salary of c£43k dependent on experience and to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts from 6am - 6pm.

As a Maintenance Engineer, the role will involve but will not be limited to:
1. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Planner to ensure safe, timely and effective completion of on-site reactive and PPM duties, liaising with the relevant departments to minimise downtime.
2. Conducting fault finding, testing, and the removal or adjustment of existing fittings, fixtures, and parts. Where a detailed specification is not provided, determining the cause of the fault and undertaking the most cost-effective solution to remedy the defect.
3. Carries out overhauls and repairs of plant and machinery including PLCs.
4. Supporting maintenance shutdowns.
5. Acting as a role model and leading by example demonstrating core company values, behaviours, and high-performance standards at all times.
Working Hours:
6am to 6pm, 4 on 4 off.
Suitable Candidate:
1. Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
2. Previously worked within a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
3. Electrically biased.
4. 18th Edition is highly desirable.
