Dron & Dickson are specialists in integrated supply, installation and maintenance of harsh & hazardous electrical equipment. Based at five UK locations, we provide specialist E&I inspection, maintenance and project services to all parts of the Offshore & Onshore Energy sector, Pharmaceutical and Marine industries. The primary purpose of this role is to proactively support group HR operations by facilitating and coordinating daily people related activities in all aspects of relevant operational and people management processes. Objective: The primary objective of this role is to proactively support and co-ordinate key People & Development processes & initiatives, taking responsibility for specific tasks and duties whilst maintaining an accurate and efficient HR Management System to support management reporting, decision making, departmental KPIs and ongoing continuous improvement via the People & Development improvement plan. Reporting to: People & Development Manager Direct Reports: None Core Alignment Responsibilities: · Understand and support the company's mission, vision and values · Responsibility of personal learning, development and KPI completion · Promote and proactively adhere to the companies core values in all day-to-day activities and interactions. · Support and contribute in the annual People & Development improvement plan Role Responsibilities: · Provide day to day operational people related support and co-ordination ofboth the onshore and offshore aspects of the business. · Support all general people & development queries and provide guidance to employees and managers. · Record and monitor sickness and absence levels · Monitor appraisal and probationary reviews ensuring actions are addressed and processed where applicable. · Provide general guidance and support to management by supporting investigations and disciplinary/grievance meetings. · Responsible for ensuring that all people related data is accurately maintained, inputted and any changes are captured accordingly. · Compile and issue new start documentation and contractual amendments ensuring that all information issued is accurate and recorded accordingly. · Submit Offshore Fixed Term payroll submissions and PSC IR35 Tax and NI deductions to Finance on a weekly basis in a timely manner (where applicable). · In the absence of the People & Development Manager, update and revise payroll information and submit to the Financial Controller in a timely manner. · Coordinate and support the People & Development Manager with all peoplerelated projects. · Participation in Audits & Tender submissions. · Compile and issue people related statistics to People & Development Manager. · Accurately process leavers of the company including contractual and payroll documentation, holiday accruals etc. · Maintain HRIS including annual leave. · Support and deliver Mental Health & Wellbeing intiatives. · Ensure strict compliance with right to work compliance, data protection and confidentality requirements. · To provide cover during periods of absence and to support the Talent Acquisition team as required. · Undertake and enhance continous personal development in line with CIPD requirements. · To maintain good communications with internal and external clients. · To be fully aware, assist and support the ongoing development of the integrated management system. · To take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes. · Ad hoc duties as requested by management. · Travel for business or attendance at social events may be necessary. HSEQ Responsibilities: · Comply with all Dron & Dickson’s integrated managements system including all policies and Procedures · Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting. · Act ethically and with integrity · Ensure all health and safety training is undertaken. · Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
