Job summary We are looking for health care assistants to join our community team to contribute to the provision of high-quality holistic care for patients at home. Your main responsibilities will be to assist with patients personal care, helping to move, position and mobilise patients and observing their general condition in line with the care plan, reporting any changes as required. You will assist with patients nutritional needs and update the patient record system. While the role can be demanding, its also incredibly rewarding. ABOUT YOU To be considered for this post you will need to have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification and previous experience in a health care setting. You should also be aware of the physical and emotional needs of patients suffering from a life-limiting illness and those of their relatives and carers and be kind and caring in your approach. Good teamwork and the ability to work a full range of shifts between the hours of 08.00- 21.30 everyday on a rota. You will need to hold a UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle with Class 1 business insurance.
