WORKPLACE TRAINER: Multi Skills (Carpentry primary trade) Location: Milton Keynes Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum IN SHORT Are you passionate about your trade/industry and looking to do something different? Milton Keynes College are looking for a Workplace Trainer with expert multi trade skills, specifically including Carpentry. You will work in collaboration with the Construction delivery team to develop and deliver current construction programmes including Carpentry, Property maintenance operative, Groundworks, Brickwork and Painting & decorating - the apprenticeship standards dictate that you must be qualified to at least Level 2 or above yourself and have relevant industrial technical competence/experience. As a Workplace Trainer, your role will be dynamic, varied and highly rewarding - working with employers, apprentices and the college curriculum teams. You will have some autonomy with your diary, with the expectation of certain days/times on campus delivering face to face lessons, appointments to be scheduled with employers at their workplace and some working from home also supported. Workplace trainers are assigned a caseload of apprentices to train and assess throughout the evolution of their apprenticeship. Our apprentices’ journey runs all year round, therefore you are able to take your annual leave at any time of the year.
