Here at Teaching Personnel, we are currently looking to recruit a Primary Supply Teacher in Bournemouth, Dorset. The ideal candidate needs to be able to teach a range of age groups and subjects. The right candidate will have responsibilities such as maintaining high standards of professionalism, learning and supporting children’s needs, and delivering quality teaching across all subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining a positive learning environment and providing classroom discipline.
* Providing students with necessary feedback, support, and encouragement.
* Having confidence in covering a variety of subjects at KS1 and KS2.
* Able to support children with SEN and disabilities.
* Completing all essential tasks such as administration, providing feedback, and marking where necessary.
* Complying with the school’s policies and procedures.
The role will entail:
The main roles and responsibilities will include covering classes in the absence of the class teacher. The majority of lessons will be pre-prepared, therefore you will need to develop the tasks prepared. Being able to adapt to different subjects is key. Building positive and professional relationships with students and colleagues within the workplace is very important.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar qualification.
* Confidence in providing Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 education efficiently.
* Able to provide effective management within the classroom.
* Creating a positive environment for children’s development and a sustainable learning environment.
