Full Stack Developer
Voltempo is developing Hyper Rapid DC charging solutions for a range of commercial vehicle sectors, initially here in the UK, but progressively, as the transport sector electrifies, internationally. The company holds several international patents, it is engaged in the end-to-end design, supply, site commissioning and servicing of charging solutions, targeting commercial vehicles. The business is currently scaling and is well supported by both its international shareholders and its role under the UK Govt eFreight programme, where it is leading a consortium of UK logistics fleet operators to deploy the UK first eHGVs charging network.
About the Role:
This role is to lead on the design and development of the systems, back-end tech stack which will provide customers with information to support their operations as well provide Voltempo with data on the systems performance. Collaboratively working with the customer in capturing the requirements for the UI and logistic fleet charging performance, developing software and data management architecture, undertake verification and as appropriate certification to ensure compliance to UK & International standards.
Key Work Activities:
1. Designing the back end and data management architecture.
2. Validating development and execution of test plans through to product approval.
3. Strong communication and project management skills.
What credentials are we ideally looking for:
1. Responsibilities include designing the database architecture in line with data best practice policy.
2. Proficient in programming skills such as .Net, C#, Web API, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, JSON, VS code, React, Node, SQL server.
3. Experience of working in a SME would be desirable, highly collaborative, able to support the development of technology, product roadmaps.
4. Familiar and a keen interest in areas of low carbon energy technology and data services, must be numerate with a strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
5. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
