Job Description:
The University of Manchester is committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and is looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Deputy Head of Compliance (Contracts) to join our team and help us navigate the complexities of contract management and compliance.
We are looking for a candidate that:
* Can lead an established team of Compliance Supervisors and Specialist Contractors in the delivery of a cost effective and efficient maintenance service to the University.
* Has experience of contract management specifically with FM standards and specifications.
* Has knowledge of environmental sustainability issues and how these may have an impact on the University.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
* Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all engineering activities.
As an ideal candidate you will have:
* A HND/HNC level qualification and extensive experience demonstrating management ability in a similar large environment with a mix of internal and external resources.
* Experience in construction/facilities management, and evidence of progressive professional development.
* Proven leadership abilities for service excellence delivery for maintenance and compliance in a large estate’s environment.
* Proven leadership abilities for the delivery of Reactive, Planned, and Long-Term Maintenance.
* Knowledge of environmental sustainability issues and how these may have an impact on the University.
