Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant Spire Little Aston Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join the team on a Part Time and Permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality housekeeping services to the hospital and auxiliary buildings. Role purpose: To ensure the highest quality patient satisfaction by ensuring the cleanliness of the hospital is in line with Spire policies and regulatory governing bodies. You will work as part of the housekeeping team rota, working 30 hours per week over four shifts from Monday to Sunday, with a mixture of shifts from 06.30-14.30 and 12.00-20.00. Please note: You will require your own vehicle to reach the hospital as public transport is not readily available. Duties and Responsibilities To ensure all areas of the hospital are cleaned in line with policies, and all relevant paperwork is completed. To make sure that all building and fabric issues are reported. Carry out scheduled flushing lists within the hospital. Make sure all equipment is thoroughly cleaned at the end of each shift and left to a high standard. To maintain a good standard of Health & Safety and COSHH legislations. To promote the Spire behaviours. Who We're Looking For Great attitude and work ethic. Ideally, experience in a professional cleaning capacity. Flexible to work night shifts with some weekends. Experience in a similar role, in a customer-facing environment. Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety at Work and COSHH. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. IT literate and a competent user of the MS Office suite. High degree of accuracy and a methodical approach to workload. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. Highly numerate. Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise demanding workloads. High standard of personal appearance expected in healthcare profession.
