An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Cleaning Operative, working at a car dealership in Bar Hill Cambridge, CB23 area. The Car Showroom Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment within the car showroom. The individual will ensure the showroom floors, windows, and displayed vehicles are spotless, enhancing the customer experience and the overall aesthetic appeal of the dealership. Hours: On average 12.5 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Friday 08:00am - 10:30am. Pay rate: £12.00 per hour. What’s in it for you? Contributory pension scheme. Responsibilities: Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added: The Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning of all areas within the contract. Achieving high standards, you will ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically. Sweep, mop, and polish showroom floors to maintain cleanliness and shine. Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including windows, glass doors, counters, and furniture. Ensure proper cleaning of high-traffic areas, such as entrances and customer waiting lounges. Wipe and polish cars on display, including windows, body, and interiors (if necessary). Ensure that all vehicles are free from dust, fingerprints, and smudges. Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap). Empty bins regularly and dispose of waste appropriately. Ensure recycling guidelines are followed where applicable. Report any repairs or damages to equipment, floors, or other parts of the showroom to the management. Assist in setting up or rearranging furniture or displays when needed. Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored safely after use. Follow health and safety guidelines when using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Greet and assist customers if required, ensuring a positive interaction. Experience of working in a customer facing environment. Able to work individually and as part of a team. Previous cleaning experience and knowledge. Own transport is required.
