At The Best Connection, we are currently recruiting for a 7.5T driver for one of our waste management clients based in Folkestone.
Position Overview
As a Cat C1 Driver you will be operating a cleansing vehicle, collecting public litter bins. The shift would be starting at 2.00pm and finishing at 10.00pm, working a 40 hour week including every weekend. You would get two rest days during the week.
Pay Rates:
£12.50 - £15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
1. Driving and operating a cleansing vehicle, collecting public litter bins.
2. Report fly-tipping, graffiti and damaged bins to the depot
3. Ensure the vehicle is tipped, washed and the cab is left clear of litter
4. Accurrately complete paperwork
5. Report any accidents to the depot manager
Skills
6. Valid C1 license
7. Valid CPC and Digi cards
8. Being a team player is key to ensuring collections run smoothly
9. A can do attitude and strong time management skills
