In this role you will provide operational leadership for the Intermediate Care Therapy West teams, ensuring the service is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. You will report directly to the Therapy Lead(s), being accountable for the quality, performance, and finance status of your service, and will deputise for the Therapy Leads in their absence.
You will work closely with multi-disciplinary leads to ensure the delivery of high quality multi-disciplinary care and positive patient experience, ensuring the service is patient-centred and evidenced-based.
a) To line manage allocated staff to include, recruitment process, sickness and absence monitoring, and disciplinary / performance issues.
b) To report, investigate and manage incidents, sharing learning from incidents and risk with the team and wider organisation as appropriate.
c) To manage complaints in accordance with Trust policy and share learning across the team.

a) To manage service delivery for daily operations, seeking support and guidance from the therapy leads and matrons as required.
b) To monitor demand and capacity within designated area, to ensure sufficient resources are available to maintain service delivery.
c) To have direct contact with patients through assessment or treatment as required to support the service.
