About the Role
The Technical Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to customers on our products and services. This includes delivering high-quality solutions on time and understanding customer problems.
* Liaise with R&D division to investigate complex technical problems and find quick solutions;
* Provide both 1st and 2nd level technical support for engineering systems and solutions;
* Travel to customer sites as needed;
* Occasionally assist with SAT or FAT systems and commissioning;
* Deliver training courses to end users/customers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A full UK driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites;
* An HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering;
* Wide knowledge of PC and Server Hardware/ Operating systems;
* Experience in programming languages such as SQL, C, C++, or Visual Basics;
* Confidence in speaking with customers daily;
* A history of working with DCS and industrial process control systems;
* A proven track record of PLC programming (IEC)/ PLC Hardware.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
