HR and Compliance Specialist
Our south Herefordshire based client is experiencing a period of sustained and high-rate growth, seeking a HR & Compliance specialist to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing team responsible for overseeing all site HR functions coupled with developing and maintaining ISO compliance.
What you can expect:
1. Salary: up £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
2. Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5pm
3. 20 days plus bank holidays, increasing with years of service
What you will be doing:
1. Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures
2. Manage employee relations including recruitment and onboarding and performance reviews, disciplinary actions and conflict resolutions
3. Coordinate employee training and development programs
4. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
5. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
6. Assist with HR related projects and initiatives
7. Ensure all customer requirements are met within the company's ethos
8. Develop and maintain an ISO management system
9. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with ISO standards
10. Implement corrective actions to address any identified non-conformities
11. Prepare for and participate in external ISO certifications
12. Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO requirements
What we are looking for:
1. Experience in HR management or a related field
2. Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
3. Experience in ISO Standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations
5. Excellent organisation and time management skills
6. Proficient across Microsoft 360 Software
7. Applicants must hold a British Passport
