About the role We are looking for 4 Customer Service Apprentices to join our Customer Service team in Oldham. The apprenticeship will last for approximately 18 months and offers the opportunity to study for a Customer Service Practitioner level 2 apprenticeship whilst working and earning a monthly salary. Our working style is Hybrid, which means you will spend some of the week working from home covering the operating hours of 9:00am-5:00pm (35-hours per week). Reporting to the Customer Service Team Manager, you will be supported by your manager and team members and will learn the importance of delivering good customer service. You will also learn about frontline customer contact service, how to maintain accurate records and how we use policies and procedures in our daily jobs. You will complete Apprenticeship milestones with YMCA and will have time away from work to further your learning. The salary is dependent on your age, and is above Government recommendations for National Minimum Wage and Living Wage: Under 18: £14,955 per annum for Year 1 18-20: £16,623 per annum for Year 1 Under 21: £17,800 per annum for Year 2 21 & Over: £20,974 per annum for Years 1-2 What were looking for We are a customer-focused organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. Essential requirements: Able to work effectively within a team. Able to work methodically, following agreed procedures and accurately process data and information. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word). Excellent numeracy skills. Excellent timekeeping. Good oral and written communications. Desirable Qualifications: GCSE Level 5 in Maths and English, or the ability to complete these with support by the end of the apprenticeship. Interview Process: We will be conducting an Assessment Centre which will take place at our Bower House office in Oldham, on Wednesday 23 rd April 2025 and Thursday 24 th April 2025.
