About the Role: We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our primary school team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to promoting expressive arts helping to enrich the learning experience for our learners. Key Responsibilities: ● Expressive Arts: Plan and deliver expressive art sessions, fostering creativity and confidence in learners, including singing, composition and appreciation of different genres of music and a range of other art forms. ● After-School Clubs: Organise and run extracurricular activities related to expressive arts providing additional learning opportunities for pupils outside of school hours. ● ICT: Planning and integrating ICT into the Expressive Arts and other Curriculum Areas Skills and Qualifications: ● HLTA Qualification (or equivalent). ● Proven experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Expressive Arts and ICT. ● A good understanding of the Welsh language or a willingness to learn and integrate Welsh into the school day. ● Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate pupils. ● Ability to plan and deliver extracurricular clubs or activities. ● Ability to plan and deliver areas within the Expressive Arts AOLE. ● Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable. ● A working knowledge of the RSE curriculum. ● Ability to develop a specific area of an AOLE across the school. ● Ability to plan and deliver elements of the Well - Being AOLE also desirable.
