We are the Regional Centre and only ward at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust which cares for patients from Yorkshire and further afield who require cardiac surgery. Acquired and congenital cardiac surgery includes coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, major aortic, complex congenital, removal of cardiac tumours and other cardiac conditions. We provide cardiology care for patients with complex congenital heart conditions and patients requiring cardiac catheterisation, pacemakers, implantable defibrillators plus other cardiac interventions.
