Security Trade Products (STP) Ltd import and distribute access control security products, selling to trade installers and other large security re sellers. Based at the offices and large warehouse facilities in Meldreth near Royston in Hertfordshire SG8 6JP, STP is looking to expand it's customer service and sales function by recruiting a Customer Sales Advisor. What the role would involve: Using product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs Support other members of the team to achieve company sales targets Manage quotes and follow up effectively Take ownership of customer communications whether via email, telephone or in person and see through to completion Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service Keep customer data organised and safe, in line with company standards Promote and support the marketing of new products to increase visibility and sales Provide exceptional customer service Who we are looking for to join our team: Exceptional customer service able to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations Confident communicator both face to face and telephone Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft software Team player who is approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality and who will enjoy a fun and dynamic work environment Personable, reliable and self-motivated individual with resilience who is happy to help both customers and colleagues Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry Previous access control experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right person What we offer: Bonus scheme available after successful completion of probationary period Company pension On site free parking Monday to Friday day schedule of 35 working hours per week 28 days holiday including bank holidays
