Job Purpose
We are looking for a Producer/Director to join Wales Investigates. The successful candidate will have strong journalistic skills and a real interest in investigations; digging beneath the surface and creative storytelling.
You'll also have a proven track record in producing content.
Working on challenging and agenda-setting stories, you'll generate & investigate strong story ideas, interview, direct, research, and write scripts for 30/60 minute films.
You'll have strong journalistic skills and a proven track in programme production.
You'll also have the ability to help lead and develop a team of production staff.
You'll be working with people from all walks of life, encouraging them to recount their experiences in accurate and accessible ways.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
You will work with the Executive Producer, Senior News Editor and other members of the team to help investigate and produce creative, imaginative and exciting content. You will be working on challenging and agenda-setting stories, you'll generate, investigate and produce strong story ideas. You will have some experience in producing investigative films and will be expected to film, research, interview, direct and write scripts as well as producing engaging digital content for all our platforms. You'll also have the ability to help lead and develop a team of production staff. Because of the nature of the job, you must be highly flexible and ready to work with extremely sensitive material, both legally and editorially.

You will have:
