Logistics Coordinators, Control Tower Team

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our client’s Control Tower team as a Logistics Coordinator. This role is perfect for candidates with strong administrative skills and preferably some experience in freight forwarding or management.
Position: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Ashby de la Zouch
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (8 hours + 1 hour lunch) with flexible start and finish times (+/- 1.5 hours)
Payrate: £12.49 per hour
Expected Start Date:As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilise strong administrative skills to support logistics operations.
* Handle international commerce and transportation terms such as CIPL, HS code, COO, INCOTERMS, AWB, MBL, CSEE, and Notify Party.
* Manage purchase orders and commercial invoices.
* Perform basic Excel tasks including formatting, converting to numbers, auto-sum, basic searches (V-Lookup, CTRL+F), pivot tables, sorting, and filtering.
Essential Skills:
* Proficiency in Excel (basic knowledge tested during the interview).
* Understanding of international commerce and transportation terms.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Experience in freight forwarding/management is preferred.
Job Details:
* Office-based initially, transitioning to 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH after training and probation.
* All equipment and training provided.
