We’re looking for a Food Safety & Compliance Technical Manager to join our team at Myton Food Group. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the safety, legality, and integrity of our products across multiple sites, driving a consistent and high-quality technical approach across our operations. What you’ll do: Ensure food safety & compliance – Support manufacturing sites in meeting all food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards, working with regulatory and enforcement bodies. Drive continuous improvement – Implement change programmes and technical strategies to enhance product integrity for own-brand and third-party customers. Risk management & incident response – Identify emerging risks, develop mitigation plans, and lead responses to serious food safety incidents. Stakeholder engagement – Build strong relationships with suppliers, industry bodies, auditors, and internal teams to uphold our technical standards. Support new business initiatives – Assess and manage risks for new business opportunities, ensuring they align with our brand and safety commitments. About You What we’re looking for: Expertise in food safety & compliance – In-depth knowledge of food manufacturing processes, microbiology, food safety legislation, and risk management. Strong leadership & influence – Ability to engage and align cross-functional teams, drive performance improvements, and champion food safety. Technical qualifications & experience Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Food Technology or a related field Recognised HACCP qualification (Intermediate level or higher) Lead Assessor qualification and experience in food manufacturing audits Significant experience in a food safety role within manufacturing or retail Proven track record of managing change and handling food safety incidents effectively What’s in it for you?
