This modern independent practice has been established for over 50 years, it is based in a state-of-the-art building with all modern facilities and equipment. It can provide all levels of care from regular preventive care to referral grade procedures.
The vet and nurse team are the most experienced on the island. They work in a relaxed, friendly environment together, a team passionate about providing quality care whilst maintaining a focus on work-life balance and fun in the workplace.
Without the shackles of a large vet group, decisions can be made quickly and ideas are encouraged.
The role is full-time (3 days, then 4 days alternate weeks, with some on-call.) They are looking for a surgical focused small animal vet. Whilst there will be consults and GP work, a good proportion of your role will be orthopaedic procedures such as TPLO’s and advanced fracture repair.
Any further training or certificates in advanced surgery, orthopaedics, would be a distinct advantage.
The beauty here is you will own your cases and see them through, with an experienced team they refer cases internally and you are never far away from a helping hand if required.
