A growing accountancy practice has a requirement for a Payroll and Bookkeeping Senior to join their team based in the firms Newton Abbot offices in a mixed and varied role providing payroll services alongside assisting on VAT and bookkeeping service provision to wide ranging industry clients across varied sectors and turnovers. Client Details Based in Newton Abbot this successful accountancy practice acts for very wide-ranging sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, up into the £millions in turnover across wide ranging industry sectors. A full time or part time addition can equally work. Hybrid working and flexible hours within a supportive, team cultured firm and environment, with parking on site. Description Joining as a Payroll and Bookkeeping Senior based in the firms Newton Abbot office you will provide weekly, monthly and fortnightly payroll service provision to a mixed client base as well as assisting on VAT returns and providing bookkeeping services as part of your role as well, acting for a varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies up to into the £millions of turnovers on Sage, Xero or Quickbooks. You will carve a valued position within this firm and role acting as key support to managers and the wider team. Profile For this Payroll and Bookkeeping Senior role you will have a recent career background developed within the accountancy practice sector working for a small, medium or large independent accountancy firm with at least three years recent experience in this sector. You will have developed experience delivering payroll services and preparing VAT returns, bookkeeping and providing other associated practice services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You may be pursuing, or hold, formal qualifications e.g. AAT etc, or have developed your career through experience to date only within an accountancy practice career background.
