The Role:
This graduate role will ensure you gain a wide range of operations, production and commercial business experience skills through continuous on the job development with coaching and mentoring. Your role will see you tackle a wide range of business challenges in a busy meat production environment. Some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing analysis of production efficiency;
2. Line Speed & Efficiencies;
3. Retail intake;
4. Meeting a number of pre-determined KPIs;
5. Primary Carcass Breakdown & yields;
6. Retail planning;
7. Coordinating production with sales and assessing costings of new and ongoing business;
8. Ensuring customer requirements are met;
9. Accurately costing new products;
10. Working with a continuous improvement mindset.
The ideal candidate will have or demonstrate:
11. Degree in Agri, Agri Business, Business/Commerce or Sales related discipline;
12. Strong financial understanding and business acumen;
13. Highly motivated, ambitious and commercially minded;
14. Excellent time management;
15. Strong communication skills;
16. Excellent attention to detail;
17. Experience of Microsoft Office
18. Ability to adapt to change in highly competitive fast paced environment;
19. Understanding of team dynamics, demonstrating the ability to work as an active and constructive member of a team with a professional enthusiastic attitude;
