Communications Lead

• Experience in complex organisations and developing relationships across multiple areas of work.
• Ability to create plans that support wider strategies and produce creative content.
• Expertise in managing media relations, briefing journalists, and handling press conferences.
• Skills in using design software, digital tools, and social media platforms.

What You'll Do:
• Lead communications for core clients including DSFS – our wholly-owned subsidiary, Royal Primary Care, Chesterfield Royal Hospital Charity, and large programmes – as well as being a key member of the corporate comms team.
• Support the development and delivery of communication planners.
• Coordinate with colleagues to maximise the impact of our communications.
• Develop connections with stakeholders to support engagement and community initiatives.
• Monitor and report on performance to ensure we're hitting our targets
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver high-impact campaigns for key clients within the Chesterfield Royal Hospital Group.
• Develop campaign messaging and concepts, both in-house and with external experts.
• Manage social media platforms to maximise engagement with our target audiences.
• Ensure our communications comply with GDPR and other relevant legislation.
• Support recruitment and retention efforts by making the best use of our external channels.
