Support Time and Recovery Worker
An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Community Prevention and Engagement Team for a Support Time & Recovery Worker to be part of the Community Asset Development Team. You will be responsible for the development and sustainability of groups and projects across Central Lancashire including peer led groups and initiatives. You will also be expected to liaise with multiple partner organisations including voluntary and 3rd sector to establish assets in the community based on identified need.
This will involve supporting with the rehabilitation and recovery of individuals and community members by supporting them to develop user led services. You will provide support and time to individuals, community groups and projects thus enabling them to participate in their own recovery and development
Your roles will include maintaining and providing information and knowledge of community resources via social media and other platforms for connecting communities. This will also include actively supporting service users to use these resources, thereby countering discrimination and encouraging social inclusion in both a face to face and digital context.
You will also be expected to support individuals on a small caseload from the Community Prevention and Engagement core teams in to the local community assets.
You will be working autonomously and as part of a team and be expected to attend regular team meetings to update on the developments. The work will be evidenced and collated and fed back to local ICB via reporting and presenting in a range of formats.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
