The Apprentice Warehouse Person role offers a unique opportunity to receive comprehensive on-the-job training and expert support from a leading training provider while pursuing a SQCF Level 6 â Warehousing & Storage Apprenticeship. The program typically spans 13 months.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAs a Warehouse Person, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our 'in stock' business model in one of our local depots. Your key responsibilities will include:\nâ¢\tEngaging with customers in a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable manner.\nâ¢\tEnsuring effective stock maintenance, adhering to strict health and safety regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service.\nâ¢\tMaintaining general housekeeping duties, including stock rotation, cleanliness, and tidiness, in compliance with Health & Safety guidelines.\nâ¢\tConducting security and compliance checks on incoming stock and outgoing orders, with a strong focus on accuracy.\nâ¢\tPerforming daily checks on the forklift truck and other mechanical equipment, promptly reporting any defects to the Depot Manager. â¢\tSQCF Level 6 â Warehousing & Storage Apprenticeship\nâ¢\tTraining provided by our in-house Learning & Development Team\nâ¢\tSupport from external training providers.\nâ¢\tA 13-month program\n â¢\tExcellent attention to detail.\nâ¢\tAbility to work autonomously and use own initiative.\nâ¢\tStrong communication skills.\nâ¢\tEffective planning and organising abilities.\nâ¢\tCapability to prioritise and manage own workload effectively.\nâ¢\tA strong desire for continuous personal and professional development.\nâ¢\tThe right to work in the UK and related evidence\n
