Sales Administrator
Location: Castleford
Type: Permanent role - start asap
Salary: £26,000 - £27,000
Working Hours: Office based, 8.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday, 25 days holiday
As a Sales Administrator at this expanding company based in Castleford, you will be integral to supporting the sales team and ensuring your customers receive excellent customer support and service. The role requires strong customer service skills and experience, as well as excellent attention to detail to ensure quotes you produce are accurate. Good knowledge of Excel is essential.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Liaising with Sales Engineers for quotes required for customers, maintaining tight turnaround times
* Providing quotes as requested by customers via email/telephone
* Actively managing the customer database
* Managing incoming customer stock requests using Sage
* Ordering replacement stock from suppliers
* Monitoring internal consignment stock, managing levels and reporting discrepancies
* Invoicing customers for items delivered to sites
* Monitoring customer price lists using Excel and CSV files to regularly update item prices
* Actively chasing quotes produced for customers when required
* Contacting customers as required to generate new business opportunities
* Liaising with suppliers and customers regarding delivery times
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in customer service and administration roles
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Good knowledge of Excel; Sage is beneficial but not essential
* Excellent attention to detail
* Team player, willing to assist colleagues to get the job done
