EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Are you an analytically minded Finance professional with a passion for solving problems? Join our central Operations Finance Controlling team in our Head Office in Coventry, as a Finance Analyst, where you will be responsible for reporting of Customer Operations and Customer Solutions financial performance, with a primary focus on capital expenditure.
You will also be responsible for delivering precise and timely analysis and reporting. This role involves collaborating with finance analysts and business partners to identify and understand the key drivers behind budget and forecast variances.
Further Responsibilities include:
* Assist with pre-close and post-close month-end ledger reviews to ensure accurate data, posting journals as needed.
* Engage with key stakeholders to ensure tasks and activity deadlines are understood and achieved including monthly forecasting and reporting, annual business planning, and budgeting.
* Develop tools to present month-end, YTD, and YOY commentary versus forecast and budget for meetings.
* Prepare and deliver all reporting requirements.
* Improve capital project processes and controls, enhancing team understanding of financial information.
* Support process improvements for capital project delivery, building relationships with the capital projects team.
* Balance short-term needs with long-term strategic priorities.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will be a Qualified Accountant with extensive experience in finance, business operations, and ideally capital delivery projects. This role could suit both a Newly Qualified Accountant from Industry or someone looking to make their first move out of practice into an Industry role.
We are looking for someone with a high attention to detail who can diagnose business issues and identify financial data abnormalities. You should have strong analytical skills to solve complex issues and excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge and translate complex information.
