Senior Manager, Partner Growth Marketing EMEA & APAC
Are you passionate about B2C marketing, but want to dive into the fast-growing B2B space? Join the Expedia Group’s Partner Growth Marketing team, a team that works directly with some of the world’s most established online travel agencies, airlines, hotel chains and financial institutions!
In your role as Senior Manager, Partner Growth Marketing, you will focus on developing scalable systems of growth that help our Private Label Solution partners’ marketing teams improve customer value.
This is one of the most exciting Marketing jobs in Travel. Your typical week could involve running a CRM workshop, discussing SEM investment, or planning a Black Friday Sale with one of our largest partners. You and your team will work directly with our partners’ marketing teams (some of the best teams in the entire industry!), empowering them to get the most out of their chosen Expedia solution.
In this role, you will focus on partners in EMEA and across APAC, spanning a number of different segments (e.g. airlines, online travel agencies). You will manage a globally distributed team of three Growth Marketing Managers. Your ability to lead motivated, high performing teams will be critically important!
What you’ll do:
1. Take full ownership of your team's assigned partners, developing customised marketing services and solutions from the ground up. These solutions are typically centered around marketing campaigns, channel activation, or user experience/ conversion optimization.
2. Work with Business Development teams to pitch our solutions to potential new partners and support these partners during their onboarding journey.
3. Develop the go to market strategy for new growth marketing solutions. Partner with product marketing, product, finance and commercial teams as required.
4. Manage a team of talented growth marketing professionals who work directly with our top partners: hiring, onboarding, ongoing coaching etc.
5. Use expertise in web analytics to benchmark performance, and to identify digital marketing or journey optimization opportunities. Turn these into concrete, accurately sized proposals that get colleagues and partners on board.
6. Build and disseminate reporting to ensure digital performance and growth opportunities are well understood internally and externally.
7. Proactively share industry news, test results, comparative and competitive reviews, and stay on top of evolving marketing technology.
Who you are:
1. Proven experience in digital marketing in the travel industry or large-scale ecommerce.
2. An experienced people leader with the ability to manage a high-performing, globally distributed team.
3. A keen strategist who doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves to prove a concept or to capitalize on a big growth opportunity.
4. A strong understanding of digital marketing and optimization, and sophisticated, hands-on knowledge of multiple marketing channels.
5. Truly excellent web analytics skills (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and a passion for data.
6. Experience in optimizing end to end user journeys. You love working with product and tech teams to make improvements, e.g. by implementing ancillary products.
7. Experience presenting sophisticated content to varied, often senior, internal and external groups. Consulting or pitching experience would be highly advantageous.
8. Strong influencing skills: You balance the needs of many collaborators with ease and advocate for the importance of marketing priorities.
9. Outstanding project management and organizational skills.
10. A bias towards action: You like to get things done, and you are able to analyze information, provide clarity back to the business and take ownership of outcomes.
