If so this may be the role for you Our client, a leading professional services firm that prides itself on providing a high-quality, responsive, and tailored service, is looking for an IT Assistant to work closely with the IT Manager and join their growing Service team. As an IT Assistant you will be the first point of contact for incidents, faults and a range of service requests and be responsible for ensuring issues are resolved effectively and efficiently across offices in Tonbridge and Sevenoaks. Key responsibilities include: Logging system faults Assisting with desktop hardware, cabling, monitors, accessories, and telephony issues Liaising with external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues Administering user accounts; creating new user accounts, assisting with password resets, and deleting inactive users across a variety of systems/applications. Coordinating with the on-boarding team for desktop setup and account activation/deactivation. Maintaining accurate records The ideal IT Assistant will blend technical knowledge with a confident telephone manner, excellent Customer Service skills and a "can do" attitude. You will also have: A good level of digital literacy and the desire to learn and develop A positive, proactive and customer-focused approach A methodical, analytical, and structured approach to tasks The role is fully office-based, Monday to Friday, core hours are Monday-Friday 9 am-5.15 pm, from our client's offices in the heart of Sevenoaks and Tonbridge, both a short walk from the station.
