What You’ll Be Doing:
* Conduct site visits to gather & record necessary commercial & contractual information.
* Create project documentation for Quality Assurance compliance.
* Assist in managing cash flow and the identification, management & preparation of financial variations.
* Support the monitoring and reporting of project progress and expenditures.
* Provide administrative support in connection with all QS functions.
* Build and maintain customer confidence.
* Develop an understanding of Compco’s services and all relevant standards and codes of practice.
What You’ll Need:
* An advance level or degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* A keen interest in the construction industry and a desire to build a career in quantity surveying.
This is an office-based role and would require the successful Trainee Quantity Surveyor to attend Monday-Friday at either Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX or Units 1C-1D Pearsall Drive, Oldbury, B69 2RA.
