Mercian Logistics is part of Cathay Investments. Mercian is looking for a Warehouse Operative to be based at its site in Ross.
The job will involve:
* Ensuring customer goods are loaded and unloaded carefully, identifying any damages or missing items.
* Ensuring deliveries are scanned and put into correct run locations.
* Making sure all items are scanned correctly and loaded as per APC load plans.
* Following the agreed procedure for unloading vans each night, signing off correctly, and completing the warehouse sweep to ensure no items are left in the warehouse.
* Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy at all times.
You will have:
* Relevant experience within a similar role, or previous experience of working within a process-led environment.
* Proven ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
* Good time management and planning skills.
An FLT licence is desirable, but a training agreement can be arranged to obtain this.
